"Springday motivates me and gets me out of bed"

At the start of 2009, I used to wake up in the mornings and peel myself out of bed. When you work as hard as I do, it is easy to lose sight of the reasons you earn money in the first place! What's the point in working so hard when you can't live, socialise, travel and enjoy?

My lack of energy drove me to make a change, I joined Springday on May 2 and was instantly motivated to ring up my local pilates studio and book in for an immediate lesson. A couple of weeks on, two pilates lessons and two brisk walks every week has seen me feel inspired, rejuvenated and myself again. It has never been about losing the kilos - just gaining a work life balance. 

Springday is helping me to understand how to integrate wellness into my everyday life. I can't wait to start discovering new and exciting things to do outside in the sunshine. Next, I am going to set myself a goal of running 5km by the end of the year without stopping.
