"Springday Has Helped Me Track My Wellness."

I have always liked to believe I am an athletic person. Growing up I was always involved in any sports I could sign up for: horseback riding, swimming, volleyball, basketball, the list goes on! Recently I’ve taken up running, a sport which was always a huge challenge for me. Through yoga and the proper running shoes, I found I was actually able to finish the Sydney Morning Herald Half-Marathon in May!

After signing up for Springday, I started tracking my performance to keep a log of my day-to-day healthy (or not so healthy) habits. Even though I wasn’t consciously aware I was doing it, I found myself saying, “You worked out hard enough yesterday and need to get your uni work done,” or “Sleep is really more important right now,” etc.

By tracking my progress with Springday, I was able to come to the realization that I'm not exercising as consistently as I thought and not eating the right food! Noticing this has really motivated me to make a change, set new goals, and get back on the everyday fitness track. I completed the City to Surf in August and got a personal best time :) Additionally, the “Healthy Eating on a Budget,” has been a huge help for me as I am counting my pennies.
